Several members arrived on Thursday afternoon and enjoyed a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. On Friday morning our golfers had a delightful day to play a game of golf. In the evening we enjoyed happy hour with snacks and a potluck with wagonmasters providing the fixings for a make-your-own submarine sandwichs with all the trimmings. After dinner we enjoyed a nice campfire, (which was started with one match) and with the magic of burning colors. Saturday consisted of everyone enjoying socializing, playing cards or “Crazy Golf”, and few even took a nap. At 5:00 p.m. the park’s hayride wagon picked us up at the pool and took us to the deck, overlooking the lake, for appetizers and a social gathering before dinner at 6:00 p.m.  After dinner we walked across the street to the Timber Lake Playhouse and saw “Ain’t Misbehaven” at 8:00 p.m. At 10:00 p.m the hayride wagon returned us to our campsites. Sunday morning was our traditional breakfast of pancakes, sausage and orange juice prepared by the men of Fox Valley Winnie’s with a short devotional by Phil Russell.  It was a great weekend and enjoyed by all attendees.
