Quad Cities Winnies

Three rigs from the Quad Cities Winnies made it to the annual Illinois Indians State Rally at the Iroquois County Fairgrounds, Crescent City, IL.  The Groves and the Grilleys arrived on Thursday (6-24) to start our rally duties of drink detail.  The Sheets arrived on Friday.  Because of past heavy rains, all rigs had to park on the gravel.  It was actually a very nice parking experience -- some of us had shade trees and picnic table patios.  The rally was enjoyed by all six of us, especially Barb, who won three raffle items.  We all won nice door prizes.  Next year our club will be doing the Saturday morning breakfast.

We hear from our Winnie members Dannie and Judy Shryack, that they are very much enjoying the WIT Alaskan road trip.  Great E-mails from them -- makes you wish you were with them.
